Committee Information Page As discussed at the Board meeting of April 9th 2008, WRPOA is starting the process of forming a true Neighborhood Watch Program. This will be in conjunction with the Noblesville Police Department. Our first step is to get a commitment from at least 40% (88 households) of our neighbors to particpate in the program and attend two organizational meetings a year. Shortly, your neighbors will be knocking on doors to request your participation. In the meantime, everyone can help to make our neighborhood a safer place to live by following these simple steps: - Keep front porch, back porch and post lights lit through the night. Replace burnt out bulbs and repair shorted posts if necessary.
- Be alert of suspicious activity. If you see someone lurking in shadows or something seems out of place, please notify the Noblesville Police by calling 776-6340.
- Keep garage doors closed, cars parked in driveways or the street locked, and do not leave expensive electronics (iPods, cell phones, GPS systems, DVD players) within view in your car.
- Stay in touch with your neighbors. Let them know when you're leaving town, when you'll be back, and how to contact you in an emergency. If you see activity in a home but the owners are out of town, call the police!
